What we did: Design for The Festival Book interior spreads (a lifestyle book about music festivals).

We wanted to make the page design fun and funky, and not too text-heavy. The design is spacious, and Polaroids were used liberally throughout as a graphic element.

We wanted a high proportion of the spreads to be images rather than text, and many of the images were photoshopped by Penguin Random House to give a retro/festival feel.

Full page quotes are used liberally throughout the book, and we introduced a number of patterned backgrounds.
